In 2015, Säätötuli celebrated its 30th anniversary for biomass heating system manufacturing. Säätötuli has been a strong player of the biomass industry in the North of Europe for many years already. Demand for Säätötuli’s products has grown also in other markets. In 2015, Säätötuli took a big step forward, expanding its operations not only by sales, but with local presence in Canada, Russia, Norway, Lithuania and Slovenia. With this latest expansion, Säätötuli operates now in a total of 14 countries.
Säätötuli Canada Enterprises inc. started business in St Hyacinthe, QC in December 2015. Unlike European operations, the Canadian branch will subcontract the manufacturing of pressure vessels locally to meet the ASME standards. Assembly of the containerized biomass heating plants will also be done locally to reduce transportation costs and delivery times.
